What is the essence of your company and its products?

Our essence is the celebration of life and natural beauty through conscious, green living. We offer a unique range of natural personal care products for beauty and well being that are artisan made, carefully assembled and labeled, and provide unmatched customer service.

How do you position yourself as a green company?

• All our products are vegan and 100% biodegradable.
• We NEVER use any animal product whatsoever.
• We NEVER use any petroleum derived ingredients or synthetic chemicals. That means we abstain from detergents, sodium lauryl sulphates and other surfactants, parabens, alcohols, fragrances, etc.
• We use only pure plant essential oils of the highest quality.
• Every decision we make is evaluated by its potential effect on the living environment.
• We strongly urge our customers to recycle our packaging.

What is the difference between fragrances and essential oils?

We use only pure essential oils, which are the pure distilled essences of plants. Fragrances are synthetic chemicals, usually derived from petroleum, that can irritate skin and potentially cause allergic reactions. Fragrances have no therapeutic value whatsoever.

Is there a need to refrigerate your products?

No. Refrigeration may extend the shelf life of many of our products, however it is not necessary.

Is Pitys™ Pine Tar Soap safe for infants?

To be safe, please check with your health care professional before using.

I found Sea Wool sea sponges for much cheaper. What gives?

They are probably from the Bahamas. Though they are the same species, the Bahamas sea wool sponges are not as durable and strong as the Florida Sea Wools. We sell only Florida Sea Wools as these are the highest quality sea sponge. They are in extremely high demand, treasured for their softness, durability and suppleness, and so they command higher prices. These are also a guaranteed product of the USA, sustainably collected from US waters.
